Summer Program
Our Summer
Program is designed for students 13 and older who want to
experience Canada for a short time. Our program will run
from July 7th – August 22nd, 2008.
This course is a delightful combination of English classes
and field trips. Come to enjoy our west coast activities
including golf, beaches, sightseeing, and sports. We
encourage you to experience all seven weeks and enjoy a 3
night trip to Whistler or Tofino with us! We take a
maximum of 10 students on these trips, so reserve early to
secure your place!

This
program is an excellent preparation for students entering
a Canadian high school in September or for those
international students wanting to continue their studies
during the summer. It also allows new students the
opportunity to enjoy Canada for a short term. Students
must have adequate medical insurance for the duration of
the program – insurance can be purchased upon arrival at
The Mains Way.
Homestay
Students
taking this program may be placed with a Canadian family.
We are often told this experience was the highlight of
their trip! The Mains Way provides homestay placement for
short stay students.
If the
students are attending School District 68, the
international homestay co-ordinator Brenda Cormack will
provide assistance with this.
